Full Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Int’l Airport (JRO)

Arrive to Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our safari representative is waiting, ready to usher you into the embrace of your booked hotel in Arusha. After you’ve checked-in at the hotel, our representative will be readily available for a brief orientation session. This is an opportune moment for you to pose any questions you might have, gain insights into the upcoming safari, and obtain important information to enrich your overall safari experience.

Day 2: Fly to Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast at the hotel, a transfer to Arusha Airport then follows, where you’ll take a flight to the Africa’s most famous game reserve – the Serengeti National Park.

Upon arrival, your driver-guide extends a warm welcome, ushering you to your booked lodge. After you’ve taken care of all the formalities at the lodge, your driver guide and you venture out on a thrilling game-viewing drive. You’ll ncounter the local inhabitants: lions, elephants, hippos, buffalos, zebras, countless wildebeests, cheetahs, leopards, and giraffes.

In the afternoon, you enjoy a packed lunch, and as the sun begins to descend on the horizon, your game drive concludes, pointing you back to the lodge. Here, in the heart of the African wilderness, you’ll find comfort, serenity, and the promise of an extraordinary safari experience still ahead of you in the next days.

Day 3: Serengeti - Full Day

Wake up for an early game drive before breakfast to catch incredible sights of wildlife in their active state. The exhilarating sensation of waking up in the heart of the African safari hub envelops you as you encounter the raw drama of the great Serengeti. After this game drive, return to your lodge for brunch before resuming your game-viewing activity.

Depending on the time of year, you will have the opportunity to witness one of Earth’s most impressive natural dramas as tens of thousands of animals, compelled by the primeval rhythms of survival, continually move in search of fresh grasslands. Among the most famous and numerous are the wildebeests, numbering over 1.5 million. Their annual migration is the Serengeti’s most significant attraction for most visitors, promising an exhilarating experience and offering a glimpse into magnificence of the African wildlife. However, the viewing window can be quite short.

In the afternoon, you return to the lodge for and relax a bit before resuming your game drive. Afterwards, you leave again for the last round of game searching and some incredible moments in the heart of Serengeti. In the early evening return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Rise up early for a last morning game-viewing drive before breakfast, a prime opportunity to spot wildlife at their most active, and witness breathtaking sunrises over the African savannah. Return to the lodge for brunch, followed by a transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.Enter the world-renowned Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site encompassing a vast interrelated ecosystem.

This area includes the Crater Highlands, home to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater, as well as expansive plains, grasslands, bush, and woodland, covering an impressive 8,300 sq km. Stop for a few minutes at a viewpoint, treating yourself to sweeping views of the crater. After capturing these fleeting moments, you’ll proceed to your well-appointed lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Full Day

After an early morning breakfast, descend nearly 2,000 feet down into the crater with the hope to spot the Big Five. The Ngorongoro Crater provides a unique window to a stunning backdrop for viewing a plethora of wildlife, especially lion, elephant and the endangered black rhino.You’re most likely to spot lion, wildebeest, zebra, eland, bushbuck, cheetah, jackal, buffalo, Grant’s gazelle,

Thompson’s gazelle and and the elusive black rhinoceros. In the afternoon, enjoy a well-prepared picnic lunch in the heart of this natural wonder. In the afternoon, as the sun wanes, you’ll ascend the crater walls, and drive to your booked lodge in Karatu, where a tranquil evening awaits you, providing the perfect backdrop for reflection on the day’s extraordinary encounters with Tanzania’s wildlife.

Day 6: Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara National Park

As your Tanzanian safari draws to a close, embrace the tranquility of your final morning at the lodge in Karatu while relishing a delectable breakfast. As you drive through Mto wa Mbu on your way back to Arusha, a glimpse of local life paints an incredible canvas of culture.

Depending on your flight schedule, a private transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport will seamlessly connect you with your return flight home or to other destinations after you’ve arrived in Arusha.

Day 7: Lake Eyasi to Kilimanjaro Int’l Airport (JRO)

Leave for Lake Eyasi after breakfast, aiming to spend some quality time with the Hadzabe who’ve called this region home for approximately 10,000 years and continue to uphold traditional hunter-gatherer practices. Also known as the Hadza, they speak a language characterized by clicks, very much related to that of Southern Africa’s San.

Today you have the opportunity to engage in various activities that are integral to the daily lives of the indigenous Hadza people. The men will be happy to demonstrate their hunting techniques, showcasing how they shoot arrows, and if you’re interested, you can try your hand at shooting a few arrows as well. The photographic opportunities are equally extraordinary, making this tour a definite highlight of your safari.

These activities will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable insights into many aspects of the Hadzabe lifestyle.Early in the afternoon, you’ll journey back to Arusha and transfer to the airport for your homeward flight or to other destinations. Enjoy an incredible end to a wonderful Tanzanian safari, soaking in the cultural richness and taking great memories with you.
